The Ellis Sidekick™ is an innovative control system that aids in maneuvering boats through tight spaces, holding the boat firmly against the dock while tying up, and getting everyone home in case of main engine failure.

The Ellis Sidekick™ includes a bow thruster, rotating/retractable stern thruster, and control panel at the helm station. The control panel includes a hold feature that engages the hydraulic thrusters and holds the boat fast against the dock while you tie up. With an optional generator, the Ellis Sidekick™ can double as a backup engine, powering the stern thruster and getting you home if your main engine fails.
